This video shows how an embroidery machine bobbin works, and how to thread and replace the bobbin spool on a butterfly single head embroidery machine.
Bobbins can last significantly longer than 32,000 stitches, it depends on the pattern. Small intricate designs for example can last up to 100,000 stitches. Large area fill patterns will use up bobbin fast, in comparison.
